With a GSM phone or  WorldMode phone, you can roam in over 140 countries. With the unparalleled coverage of the CDMA network in New Zealand and the use of extensive GSM networks overseas, roaming has never been easier.

IMPORTANT Notice to CDMA customers.

On the 8th of July, Telecom made some important announcements regarding the CDMA network.
 
WorldMode Roaming - will be shut down on 28th October 2010. This means that from this date, the blue Telecom roaming SIM you may have will not work.
 
If you have any questions about these changes, or would like to enquire about changing to our new GSM/3G mobile service, please give our Customer Care team a call.
 

When you go overseas, you can roam simply with our complimentary roaming SIM card and just about any GSM handset. Call us at least 10 days before your expected departure date on 0508 888 800 and we will send you an activated SIM card ready to use on your overseas journey.

Pricing for international roaming is separated into 5 simple zones:
