Mobile is now available to ALL TelstraClear home line, calling and broadband customers.
Your mobile plan just got even better! From 6th March 2010, your mobile calls will be charged on a minute plus second basis, rather than minute plus minute. There is a minimum "one minute charge" for all calls as usual, but after that, you just pay by the second.
IMPORTANT Notice to CDMA customers.
On the 8th of July, Telecom made some important announcements regarding the CDMA network.
- WorldMode Roaming - will be shut down on 28th October 2010. This means that from this date, the blue Telecom roaming SIM you may have will not work.
- EVDO Data - will be shut down on 30th November 2010. This means that using data services on your mobile phone, or on a t-stick/data card will revert back to 1XRTT speeds (ie. Dial up speeds of up to 56 kbps).
- Voice Services - Will be shut down in mid-2012
