From July 21st at midday Sports channels began transmitting in widescreen mode.(Any 4x3programmes will appear pillar-boxed).
Analogue customers will see 4x3 content in 'postage stamp' and widescreen programmes in 4:3 Letterbox.

Analogue customers will see 4x3 content in 'postage stamp' and widescreen programmes in 4:3 Letterbox.
SKY Sport and SKY Sport 2

Analogue customers will see 4x3 content
In 'postage stamp' and widescreen programmes in 4:3 Letterbox.
Analogue Customer will see these programmes as 4:3 Letterbox for widescreen programmes (as Sky Box Office Pay Per View movies are currently broadcast).
Non-widescreen programmes will be seen as 'Postage Stamp' (black border around the entire picture).
Digital Customers will see the same, depending on the setting set under 'Setting' > Aspect Ratio' on their digital set top box.
SKY will be broadcasting Sky Sport 1 and Sky Sport 2 as fulltime 16:9 with no aspect ratio switching between old content and new widescreen content.
