Optional Extras - Broadband

There are a number of options you may select to optimise your Broadband experience.

Interleaving switched off - $5.00

Interleaving helps to ensure that information sent and received over the internet reaches its destination with accuracy. It is therefore recommended that interleaving is turned on. Turning interleaving off may increase download and upload speeds, but it will also decrease the level of data transfer accuracy.
The most common reason for turning interleaving off is for online activities like gaming where data response time needs to be as fast as possible.

This option is not available with Broadband Launch packages.

Static IP Address - $5.00 per month

All TelstraClear broadband users are automatically given an IP address when your broadband is connected and this will change each time a connection is made. Some people may require the same or a “static” IP address however most people will not need this. The most common reason for requiring a static IP address is if you have your own mail or web-hosting server or for security reasons when working remotely.

Mail+ - $4.95 per month
