Prevent calls being made outside your local calling area or to mobile phones or 0900 services with Toll Call Control.

How Toll Call Control works

Chargeable calls cannot be made from your phone when Toll Call Control is activated.
To make a chargeable call, simply turn Toll Call Control off by entering a four-digit code and PIN. Turn Toll Call Control on again when you've finished. This feature comes with four options:

• Standard with directory assistance
• Standard without directory assistance
• International calls with directory assistance
• International calls without directory assistance
  Toll Call Control is available in most areas. All you need is a touchtone phone.

How much does it cost?

$3.95 a month.

You cannot use this feature in conjunction with Full Toll Bar. TelstraClear requires 30 days notice of cancellation of PhoneLine Features. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period.

Toll Call Control user guide

To turn Toll Call Control on, follow these simple steps:

• Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone
• Dial 1880, followed by your four digit PIN
• Wait for the confirmation tone (long-short-long)
• Hang up

To turn Toll Call Control off so you can make a chargeable call:

• Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone
• Dial 1881, followed by your four digit PIN
• Wait for the confirmation tone (long-short-long)
• Hang up
• Lift the handset and dial the chargeable number
• Turn Toll Call Control on again when you have finished your chargeable call.

Things you should know

Toll Call Control does not prevent incoming collect or transfer charge calls.
You will still be able to make calls to 111 emergency services, service numbers and numbers beginning with 0800, 0508, 012, 0502.
