Phone and Fax Line

With Phone and Fax Line you can have one number for phone calls and another number, with a different ring tone, for inbound faxes. This way, you know which calls to pick up and which to leave for your fax machine to answer.

How Phone and Fax Line works

Your fax machine recognises the ring from your fax machine phone number and accepts the fax message.

Phone and Fax Line requires a compatible fax machine. Decoders are available at major retailers if your machine is not compatible.

Phone and Fax Line works well with Message Mailbox - your phone can take messages if your line is busy receiving a fax.

How much?

$3.95 a month.

TelstraClear requires 30 days notice of cancellation of PhoneLine Features. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period.

Things you should know

The usual local, national and international charges apply for all outgoing calls. You cannot make a phone call and send a fax at the same time.

Phone and Fax Line is not available in all areas.

You cannot use Phone and Fax Line with Second Phone Number.
