Permanent Call Redirection

If you have moved house or changed number you can have calls made to your old landline number redirected to your new number for a selected period of time.

How it works

We'll set up Permanent Call Redirection and automatically redirect your calls. Permanent Call Redirection can divert more than one call at a time, unless the number the call is diverted to is busy. It's important to remember that you are not able to make outbound calls on your original number once Permanent Call Redirection is turned on.

With Permanent Call Redirection, your landline can be redirected to:

• Another landline
• Your Message Mailbox
• A pager service, or
• An alternative network provider
  You can also set up Permanent Call Redirection with a separate Message Mailbox to pre-record a greeting with your new contact details.
  

How much does it cost?

$22.50 a month.

Local*, national and international charges apply to the redirected portion of the call. Charges resulting from call redirection are paid by you, not the person calling you.

The option to have Permanent Call Redirection to a mobile is not available. If you require a diversion to mobile on a permanent basis you will need to terminate to a phone number with Phone Divert, or divert to a Message Mailbox with a message advising the caller to call a mobile number.

TelstraClear requires 30 days notice of cancellation of PhoneLine Features. This means the usual charges will continue to apply for 30 days after the date you cancel your service, even if it is disconnected within that period.

*Local charges are Peak 6 cents per minute and Off Peak 2 cents per minute
Note: Peak is 8am-6pm Monday to Friday; Off peak is 6pm-8am Monday to Friday, all day weekends and national statutory holidays.
