Wellington, Nelson, Marlborough, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, also Buller and northern Westland
Fine apart from morning and evening cloud about the east and south coasts. Also, morning frosts and possible fog patches inland.

Southern Westland and Fiordland
Cloudy areas. Rain or drizzle developing about the fiords overnight and elsewhere tomorrow.

Chatham Islands
Few light showers.
