What does it do?
IP Connect is more than a PBX. It includes sophisticated software that allows you to manage calls via a server to give your organisation a higher degree of control and flexibility. For example, IP Connect can provide the following functions:
- You can choose whether unanswered calls from a given number go to a voice messaging service or are diverted to another number.
- You can select different numbers for calls to be diverted to at different times of the day, or days of the week. You can define where a call goes depending on the number the call originates from.
The result is much higher levels of customer service and greater efficiencies within your workplace.
Because it's digital, IP Connect means you'll enjoy high call quality and unequalled reliability. Your voice services will be IP end to end with no analogue conversion along the way.
The service is scalable, so you don't have to guess where your business will be in one, two, or five years. Simply scale your services as you need. We can upgrade or reduce your bandwidth easily.
IP Connect is available with Office in a Box, Avaya IP Office, and Cisco Call Manager (which allows integration into a bespoke call management system). If you have multiple offices, IP Connect can integrate with Private IP to provide a solution that works for you.

IP Connect can be delivered over TelstraClear's Fibre or Copper networks. All you will require is a TelstraClear phone line and calling plan and a compatible IP-PBX in order to ensure the service experience is end to end. The compatible IP-PBX's for IP Connect are:
- Avaya IP Office 500 (version 4.1.12) or
- Cisco Call Manager 6.1, using a Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
