When you bring your own handset to TelstraClear, we will send you a text message with the TelstraClear data settings in it. You just need to accept the settings and your handset will be all ready to go with mobile data.

If you never received the text/configuration message you can resend it using the Set Up My Mobile tool on this website.

For handsets not capable of receiving this message, the Set Up My Mobile tool can also provide you with step by step instructions to manually configure your phone.

In some cases your phone configuration may not be available using the Set Up My Mobile tool. In these cases we recommend you consult your manual or the manufacturer’s website for instructions to manually enter the settings below.

A note about WAP and Android phones: Configuring WAP on an Android phone can cause issues with web browsing, email and other applications on your phone that use the internet. It’s recommended that you only set up MMS and Internet.

iPhone and IPad

Mobile devices running Apple iOS such as the iPhone and iPad are not capable of receiving data settings as a text message, so will need to be configured manually. For a step by step instruction, please click here.
